From Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER)

Your trip starts with a short hop to Copenhagen, operated by our interline partner SAS. We recommend being at Berlin Brandenburg Airport at least 2 hours before departure. Once you arrive in Copenhagen, your onward flight to Nuuk is booked as part of the same ticket, so your baggage is checked through and you simply follow the connecting flights signage.

Connecting in Copenhagen (CPH)

Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup) is Air Greenland’s main international hub, and the departure point for our non-stop flight onward to Nuuk. Connection times vary by departure, so always check the layover length shown at booking – longer layovers give you a comfortable buffer for changing terminals.

Arriving in Nuuk (GOH)

Nuuk Airport (GOH) is Greenland’s main international gateway, opened in November 2024 with a new 2,200-metre runway. It lies just 4 km from the city centre – about a 10-minute taxi or local bus ride.

The Berlin–Copenhagen sector is operated by our interline partner SAS. The Copenhagen–Nuuk sector, which takes around 4 hours and 30 minutes, is operated by Air Greenland on the Airbus A330-800neo.

When you book the whole journey as one ticket, your checked baggage is normally transferred automatically to your connecting flight. Always confirm the baggage handling for your specific booking at check-in, especially if your connection time in Copenhagen is short.

Economy tickets on the Air Greenland Copenhagen–Nuuk sector include 20 kg of checked baggage plus 8 kg of hand baggage. Premium passengers get 30 kg checked luggage plus 2 pieces of hand luggage, max 8 kg total. Baggage allowance on the Berlin–Copenhagen sector follows SAS’s policy for that fare type.
